Day 29 | Selfie

Day 29 | Selfie

Today was pretty awesome! I slept in, but not too late. If I sleep in too late I stay tired all day.  I was able to call and make a ton of appointments that NEEDED to be done a while ago. I finally was able to remember to set those appointments. Unless its an emergency or needs care soon I forget to call and make those appointments.  I woke up with an agenda and plan and by golly I got that plan done PLUS some!!  Two of the four children had a sleepover at a friends house and so I met her to pick them up. We needed to grab a few things at the BX( almost like a Walmart). Once that was done there wasn’t enough time to go home before I had a Selfie session that evening. We decided to see the movie MAX. What a great, great movie. I have been super emotional lately and this movie amplified that for me. I was bawling within the first eight minutes. Usually I can stop myself after a minute or two of crying, but not this time. It went on, on and off throughout the whole movie. It a kind of a movie that hits home on several levels. Its about a Marine and his bomb dog that he worked with. The dog reminded me of all the dogs that my father worked with at the prison while I was growing up. No my dad wasn’t in prison. He was apart of the prison K-9 Team for many many years. Almost 20 years. So this movie made me think of all the Marines that have been lost and it made me think of my husband and it also made me think of my dad. I have a pretty amazing husband and father. They are unique, and perfect in my eyes. So if you cry during movies, you will during this one so bring tissues! After the movie it was time for the selfie session I had planned with the beautiful Dani! The kids played on the unique Japanese drop slide! I did another shoot for her not too long ago, but she cut her hair, like a lot. It used to be down to almost her lower back. She wanted some updated shots for her business and for herself. Let me tell you, this girl looks good no matter what she does with her hair. Not many can pull short hair off, but she looks AMAZING with it! I love it and you are beautiful Dani.
