Day 6 | Rainy Day

Day 6 | Rainy Day

Well as most of you in Okinawa know, today was a wet and rainy day. Tis the season for rain. We like to call this the rainy season. It literally rains about every day for about 6 weeks. We had plans to do some snorkeling and exploring, but it wouldn’t have been very good snorkeling while it was raining. Instead we opted to walk around a little island and explore. It was just sprinkling, so it wasn’t a big deal. We had the best time just exploring and checking out the local sea wildlife. We found a few things we had never seen before. The boys were thoroughly intrigued. We explored caves and cliffs. We would like to camp in a few spots, but I’m unsure if the tide would get us or not.  The little blue fish were so beautiful. One of my favorite fish that  I have seen on the island. We had a wonderful family day. I love family days.
