This session was a dream for me as a Jim Thorpe maternity photographer. The rain for the most part held off for us, only sprinkled a tiny bit. I was so happy we made this maternity session happen. I normally love driving through Jim Thorpe, but I had not explored around the area too much. Kiersten suggested Mauch Chunk Lake Park and once I heard lake, I was all about that location. I did not know what to expect, and was very pleasantly surprised at its beauty.
As a Jim Thorpe maternity photographer, I knew it was important to focus on my expecting mom as well as capture the beauty of the area, especially since she requested it. She brought along her husband and two adorable girls. We grabbed some adorable family photos and a few of them alone with wife and mom.
The girls thought it was pretty cool to go fishing with dad while me and mom finished up with her maternity photographs. Kiersten was expecting their first boy, and to say they were excited is an understatement. Dad had all the plans for baseball, fishing and much more for his baby boy.
At the end of the session I couldn’t resist photographing the girls being so adorable in their rain coats and with the umbrella. I can’t wait to show you their baby brother!
