Hey! I feel like I have neglected my blog the last few months. I have been so crazy busy with so many photography sessions that I haven’t had too much time to update my blog! I’ve done countless newborn sessions, family sessions, maternity and couples sessions over the last 6 months. Now that I am so close to offering NEPA studio maternity photography, its time to start sharing more of my recent sessions! They have blown me away this last year!
Erica contacted me about doing her maternity and newborn photographs and I was so excited. I love offering NEPA studio maternity photography. When she booked she knew she wanted a studio maternity session. She like the simple black and white look to the photographs. It was perfect for the new studio space I had to do the maternity photographs. Erica wanted to include her husband Rashad in some of the photographs. I am more than happy to include him. Its a special time in their lives expecting their first child. Fathers play such an important role in pregnancy by supporting the mothers.
For the this NEPA studio maternity photography session we implemented a simple black background with a beautiful flowing white maternity gown. The gown hugged her beautiful curves perfectly to compliment her growing belly. We also implemented silhouette photography with simple white backlit images. Erica’s curves were highlighted by the natural light that beamed upon her. Pregnancy made Erica glow. She was so elegant during our session.
NEPA studio maternity photography can be done with natural light as well as studio light. I am well versed in both and enjoy using both for my studio photography. I think it is great to offer different looks for your session and welcome requests you may have for either types of light. For this session we played with both types. We also played with styles and they all turned out beautifully.
