Snow Day | Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania Portrait Photographer
This holiday season our family had planned to go on vacation back home. We had high hopes of a snow day! Now that I am a Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania Portrait Photographer I had better get used to the cold days. I am in store for quite a few cold days. Days colder than I’ve lived in, in almost fifteen years. I think the lowest temperature I’ve encountered in places we have lived over the years has been around 32*F. Which is cold, but not as cold as we experience this trip.
My children were beyond excited to go to grandma and grandpa’s house and play in the snow. My youngest said he wanted to build a snowman without his shirt on. He quickly changed his mind. I can’t wait to photograph him as a Snow Day | Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania Portrait Photographer. I have many plans and visions in my head for that day. I was told that it doesn’t snow too much in the Lehigh Valley, PA. I’m not going to lie at first that excited me. After our trip home with the all the snow I’m kind of sad it doesn’t snow too much. My kids were in heaven.
As much as I hate to admit this, I truly enjoyed the snow and the joy it brought to my my family. We knew we had to get at least one day of sledding in and we did just that. We would have liked more, but we had a full schedule. We found a nice big hill and got all the sleds out. The kids quickly raced up the hill ready to race down it as fast as they could in their sleds. That dream was quickly halted as the sleds did not race down the hill. The kids had to figure out how to make the sleds go down a little faster. Enough talking about it, how about you see for yourselves.
