Bloomsburg Family Photographer
I try to take my kids’ birthday photos each year. Does it always happen, usually not? But by golly, I sure do have good intentions to do it. You would think as a Bloomsburg, PA Family Photographer I would be on top of it and have all kinds of gorgeous photos of my kids. I don’t. Well, I do, but not for every year. As they get older it gets harder to pin them down or to even want to go do them.
If I do photograph them for their birthdays its spur of the moment, hurry up get dressed and let’s go. It’s not planned out, usually. This particular year I did do some sort of planning, but not much. I at least did her hair. She took it upon herself to add some lipstick to her face. Which makes her look even older than she is. I got so many comments that she looked 15, or even one that said she looked like a grown woman. I have to be honest I was surprised at those comments. I still see her as my little baby. Yes. I know she is growing older. Side note to state that the Kimono is not on correct because I didn’t get the right parts, so we just went with it.
This was her last birthday in Okinawa. Such a bittersweet commemorative of our time in Okinawa.

I think the little girls respond the best to these sessions. It makes them feel so special. They love the one on one attention and to feel like a princess.
