2017 Year in Review | Pennsylvania NEPA Photographer
Wow, it’s already time for the 2017 Year in Review | Pennsylvania NEPA Photographer. Time has really flown this year. Yet it still seems like two different years. You see, this year we moved from Okinawa, Japan to Pennsylvania in the middle of the year. That made it seem like two different years. 2017 had so many amazing things happen and some of the biggest struggles as a family and personally.
2017| Pennsylvania NEPA Photographer
I am kind of indifferent about 2017. The beginning started out amazing. I had a booming business and I loved every minute of it. Just before our move, some things happened that could have had a totally different outcome than they did. Things could have gone to the worst possible things, but thankfully went in a positive way. Some of those situations actually improved our family more than anyone could know.
The Good
2017 kept me busy as I said in the beginning with an abundance of clients and amazingness. I am so very grateful for each and every client that trusted me to photograph them this year. I am humbled by how much I am loved. Another amazing thing that happened personally was that we were able to move back to the states and BUY OUR VERY OWN HOUSE!! That was beyond exciting and yet very scary! It has brought us together more as a family and it has brought some absolutely amazing individuals! We are so very grateful for them all!! 2017 has also brought some opportunities to me that I would never have even considered possible or a thing. And for those opportunities I am thankful.
The Bad
As I said, some things could have gone badly. During those situations, I was scared and confused, and terrified things would go the wrong way. I really don’t want to focus on the bad, because I’m determined that 2018 will be my year! Since moving business has been slow. All my usual marketing tactics have not worked here. I’m so used to a military community and having a sense of unity and togetherness and word of mouth. I have yet to see this here. I don’t even know where to begin in a civilian area. So if you have any tips, please feel free to share. I REFUSE to give up what I have worked so hard to build for the last 9 years!
Just a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to all of you that have supported me in any way!!
