I hope that most of you are celebrating a mother today. It amazes me each day as a Pennsylvania mommy photographer, I learn that there can be more than just a biological mom. There are adopted moms, bonus moms, moms who have an angel, moms-to-be. I know that I will be thinking of my mom and my grandmothers today. I can’t physically be with them, but I will be calling them and telling them how much I am thankful for them and all they have done for me. I tend to tell them that anyway because it is important, but an extra dose of goodness today.
This last month I have had the privilege of photographing so many moms! My mommy and me minis are BY FAR my most popular mini session ever. It is one mini session I make sure I do each year. It is one of the most important sessions I do each year. I love seeing how these wonderful mothers interact with their children. I love seeing how much these kids love their mothers, even if they are stinkers ;).
I did some studio sessions because it was yucky out and I did some outdoor sessions because it was so nice. One of these sessions will be featured today. The others will be coming over the next few weeks to finish out May, the month of mothers in my eyes. This little guy was so active, mom knew just how to keep him entertained though. And of course, mom picked out the perfect colors and cute outfits for the session. Some pink, turquoise and some black thrown in there. Everything made for the most adorable photos for Mother’s Day!
