Bloomsburg Cake Smash Photographer
Georgia Mae was originally supposed to have her first session with me for a Fresh 48 session. Mama had some things come up and was flown back to the states to deliver her. We decided instead of Fresh 48 and newborn session we would do milestone sessions throughout her first year! I was so excited to see her grow over the year. Let me tell you this year has flown by so very fast. I loved each and every session with Georgia Mae. We knew we needed to do a cake smash at the end of the year because I am a Bloomsburg Cake Smash Photographer.
CAKE SMASH
March 1 was rolling near and we wanted to set up an adorable first birthday cake smash session! This was perfect because I am a Bloomsburg Cake Smash Photographer . Her family calls her ladybug so we had to incorporate that into her session. We used pink and gold to accent the set up. It was originally supposed to be outside but big sister had been sick and we chose to stick with studio. I pulled out a background I had bought from a fellow photographer here and had never used. That was one of the best ideas ever! I quickly put it up and used the other decorations I had bought for it. I added three little ladybugs in there to keep with her little nickname.
Georgia Mae wasn’t too sure about being in the spotlight and staying away from mama. We got her to play with the props and stay put for a few seconds. She wasn’t too much in to the smiling, but we did get a few out of her. Once the regular shots were over we pulled out the adorable cake her mom brought with. It was white with gold dot accents and a pink ruffle around the bottom. It went so well with the entire set up. Georgia Mae wasn’t so sure about touching it and smashing it. She stuck her finger in and daintily ate a little. Smiling here and there. My daughter came in and got her really smiling. It was adorable. She got so excited about clapping. Her big sister didn’t think she was getting messy enough and thought she would help by smashing her face in the cake for her. Let me tell you, we all cracked up laughing. Best cake smash event ever! Then we realized she wasn’t happy about it and we quickly comforted her. She had a few more minutes to slap the cake and then she was done!
