Portrait Photographer
Portrait photographer, Kristi James has a short and sweet post today! Been doing the hustle today after freezing all day! So today I didn’t get exactly what I wanted, but it’s close. A little bit of some mood.
Did you know that mood is part of my style? I don’t always incorporate it into my family sessions, but I like to try and get a few heartfelt moody images. These images are usually the children in a one on one portrait with mom or dad.
If you want some of these moody portraits incorporated into your session, PLEASE let me know. Sometimes I wonder if people really like them or not, even if I really do. So if you want them, please speak up. I will do my best to create the mood for them.
With that in mind, which do you prefer, the color or the black and white portraits? There is something about black and white portraits that speak to me. They have so much raw emotion in them. They can create a feeling, even if there was no feeling when the portrait was created.
My daughter is the best at creating all kinds of moody portraits, happy portraits, goofy portraits, smoldering portraits, you name it, she can create the mood. She has been such a great model since she was tiny. I love watching her grow into such a wonderful young woman.
