Who am I?
Hello there! I am an Okinawa photographer – Kristi James!
I am the one behind the lens over here! I am farm raised and sweet as can be. I am a wife of 13(almost 14) years to my handsome United States Marine! Seven of those years I have been an Okinawa photographer! We have four spunky kids. The oldest is in a world of his own and smart as can be. He is almost a teen and this mommy’s heart isn’t taking it well. My second is crazy, defying, loving teddy bear. He is my little love bug. Our third is our sassy, tomboy princess. She is a natural-born leader and I love her cute little personality. And the fourth is a spitfire, opinionated little love/snuggle, bug boy. He knows what he wants and lets you know it. We are a silly, fun, and honest family.
I love movies and Netflix. I could watch movies all weekend vs. going “out”. I would much rather snuggle on the couch with a good movie and spend it with my family. I do love to explore as well. I have had the travel bug hit me and I have a list of places I’d love to go, whether that’s in the next year while we still live in Asia, or after the kids have left the nest and we get to go as a couple.
I love all things photography.
I have been an Okinawa Photographer for seven years now. I am a self-taught photographer. Over the years I have taken some online workshops to keep up with the latest and make sure I was doing things safely. My dream as a child was to be a fashion photographer. That dream is still there, deep deep down in there. Nowadays my heart is with newborns, couples, and families. I look to see a deeper meaning at the moment and I want you to feel it again when you look at my images. I want you to leave your session with me, smiling and reflecting on everything beautiful and great in your wonderful, blessed life.
I want you to look back on your images and remember every little detail you love about your children and at that time in your life.
